Account requests of those new users, who have no RCRC domain email, need to be validated. The intention is to make sure that the user belongs to the RCRC Movement.

Regional Admin: the person(s) responsible for the new account validation. Regional admins need to confirm that the new user is member of the Movement.

¶ How to confirm an account?
By email:
Regional Admins are notified about a new user account request by email. The email contains information such as name and organization of the user, as well as justification provided by the user. The Regional Admin can accept this and approve the account by clicking the Yes, I approve the IFRC GO account text in the email. This activates the account.
On the admin page:
- Go to the
Pending userspage (https://goadmin.ifrc.org/en/registrations/pending/) - Click on the user. The account information will be displayed.
- In case, the user is eligible for the account, click on
Approve userThis activates the account.
¶ Pending validations
A reminder email will be sent out to the Regional Admin, if the account validation is pending for 3 days.
¶ Regional Admins list
Regional Admins can be set on the Regional Admins page (https://goadmin.ifrc.org/en/api/userregion/).
Regional Admins listed here are able to validate account requests coming from their region. Multiple admins can be associated to a region.
Only superusers have access to this list, so please contact the GO project officer or the GVA IM team to update the list of regional admins.
