Appeal information in GO is fetched from the finance data warehouse automatically. Similarly, appeal documents are imported automatically and are linked to the appeals. The data gets updated once in every hour.
As Appeal information is imported, GO tries to link each Appeal to an already existing Emergency. This is done based on the country and disaster type. As there might be multiple similar emergencies, Regional admins need to check and confirm regularly, if Appeals are linked to the correct emergency page.
To confirm the connection to the correct Emergency, the Need confirmation
should not be ticked:
The data import of specific appeals can be blocked, thus those appeals can be edited manually or removed from GO, however we try to avoid such cases. Please contact the IM Team in case an appeal should not appear on GO.
Deleted appeals will be added to the filtered appeal list (that are blocked for updates and ingestion) automatically. These appeals can be restored by removing them from the filtered appeal list. Please contact the IM Team in such cases.
