Some content on GO might be accessed only by selected user groups. This can be controlled by the content visibility settings.
When creating Field Reports or 3W projects, users can select which group of users may see the created content. The options:
The content set with Public visibility is visible to all GO platform visitors, even to visitors without a GO account.
Available to those who have a GO account:
Available to only those with an active IFRC account:
Available to those with an active IFRC account and to the members of the involved National Society:
As Emergency pages are generated from the initial Field Report, the Emergency page inherits the visibility of the Field Report.
Visibility of each snippets and situation reports on an emergency page can be set individually. This allows to access the content only for a limited user group on an emergency page, which is available for a wider user group.
For example, IFRC confidential content can be published on a public emergency in a snippet with IFRC Secretariat visibility. This makes the snippet content only visible for IFRC users.
