The Ops Learning Module in GO extracts key learnings and challenges from final reports of IFRC supported emergency operations: DREF and Emergency Appeals. The goal is to enhance emergency preparedness by systematically analyze, categorize and prioritize learnings from past operations. These insights are aimed to be accessible to the right people, at the right time, in the right place, and in the right format.
The Ops Learning module in GO compiles and tags insights based on disaster type, sector, year, location and Preparedness for Effective Response (PER) components. This data is then prioritized by frequency and importance as identified by the National Societies, offering users digestible summaries of the most relevant findings.
It involves a multi-step process that prioritize topics, and then within each topic it prioritize the most relevant learnings.

The Ops Learning module in GO has as main interface a dashboard with filters to help users refine their search based on their interest areas. The dashboard displays the top three insights per category and provides deeper secondary summaries for specific sectors and components. It also links to the specific reports from which the information was retrieved, and the related emergency page in GO.
